Megan will be student teaching in general and special education on the way to graduating from the University of Hawaii in May 2016. She intends to pursue her teaching career on the Big Island.

On December 3, choir members hosted a “Warm Mahalo & Aloha” potluck dinner party to express their appreciation, which is shared by the entire sangha.

Megan had one more chance to direct the Betsuin choir. On December 6, the Hawaii Buddhist Council Bodhi Day Service was hosted by Hawaii Betsuin. Megan conducted the choir in performing “White Lotus Flowers,” “The Bodhi Tree,” and “May Peace Prevail.”
