The Hawaii Betsuin Dharma School has entered the 2016 City and County of Honolulu 31st Annual Holiday Wreath Contest! Wreaths are on exhibit in the Lane Gallery of Honolulu Hale during Honolulu City Lights from December 3, 2016 to January 2, 2017.

"Find Your Peace" is the name of the Hawaii Betsuin Dharma School entry.

The Hawaii Betsuin Dharma School entry is named “Find Your Peace.”

Here is how the wreath is described on the entry form:

Buddha reached enlightenment by sitting under a Bodhi Tree. Our wreath depicts the Buddha sitting under a Bodhi Tree, thinking about peace and harmony in the world. Our Dharma School students and parents shared their thoughts on what peace and harmony means to them by writing on Bodhi leaves. This significant event of Buddha’s enlightenment is observed during the month of December, and we are delighted to share this simplistic, yet very meaningful creation of his enlightenment with all.

We got a tip that the wreath is already up! You can find it midway down the Lane Gallery hall on the right side.
