The Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin cordially invites its members and friends to attend Gotan-E services to commemorate the birth of our founder, Shinran Shonin. Two English-language services are scheduled; one on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. and a combined service on Sunday, May 15, 2015 at 9:30 a.m.

The guest speaker will be Rev. Shinji Kawagoe, a resident minister of Hamakua. He serves four temples, Honomu, Papaikou,
Honohina and Papaaloa.

8:00 a.m. – Japanese Language Service
9:30 a.m. – Combined Adult and Dharma School English Service (main hall)
1:00 p.m. – Japanese Language Service
