This year’s Hawaii Buddhist Council’s Bodhi Day Service will be held at the Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin on Sunday, December 6, 2015 at 9:00 AM in the main temple.  Guest Speaker will be Edwin P. Hawkins, President Emeritus Japan-America Society of Hawaii and Crown Prince Akihito Scholarship Foundation.  There will be light refreshments and entertainment by Ohana Arts and Dharma School Children.

In conjunction to the HBC Bodhi Day Service, the temple will be having a food drive.  Please bring your donations of non-perishiable food items such as canned goods, rice and pasta to the Bodhi Day Service.

There will also be a HBC Photo Contest.  The theme is “Peace”.  Everyone is invited to enter.  Deadline is November 23, 2015.
