About “Talk Story”
“Talk Story” is an important local cultural experience in which people share their life experiences as a way of building community. Within the Hongwanji, we invite special Dharma teachers to further our understanding and experience of Buddhism and the teachings of Shinran Shonin (founder of Jodo Shin Buddhism). We have an opportunity to listen to a Dharma teacher’s presentation and engage in a “talk story” dialogue. This event is free and open to the public.
