Hawaii Betsuin’s main temple building turns 100 years old in 2018. We commenced official commemoration and celebration with a service on September 10, 2017, at which His Eminence Gomonshu Gojun Ohtani — the spiritual head of the Jodo Shinshu denomination of Buddhism — was in attendance.
