On Monday, December 9, Hawaii Betsuin ministers joined with ministers from Hongwanji temples across the state in a walk to raise funds for Pacific Buddhist Academy’s new classroom building.

The walk began at the Betsuin and ended at Kapiolani Park, with a rest stop at Moiliili Hongwanji temple. PBA students and faculty also joined the walk in support of the ministers’ efforts.

Previously, ministers raised over $20,000 for the Capital Campaign. This year, ministers again collected pledges for their participation in the walk.

Supporters may still make a donation online in support of the ministers on the PBA website. To designate the gift, go to the Gift Information section and select Capital, and indicate the gift is in honor of the Ministers’ Walk (you may also specify an individual minister).
