The Hawaii Betsuin’s Project Dana program celebrates its 25th anniversary today, Oct. 18, 2015 with a special service and celebration at Hawaii Betsuin. Dana is a sanskrit word meaning “selfless giving” and Project Dana is a “Dharma in Action” program.

To help commemorate the anniversary, Hawaii Betsuin’s Ruth Tokumi created this video slide show. We hope you enjoy this overview of Project Dana Hawaii Betsuin’s volunteer services. The video includes the spirited Project Dana Dancers who practice weekly from September to May and who then perform at nursing homes during the summer months, much to the joy of residents!
