 se monks made a walking pilgrimage of 1600 miles from San Francisco\, Ca
 lifornia to Trinity\, New Mexico to return the atomic flame from Japan t
 o its origin point\, thus closing the 60-year cycle of destruction and s
 aving humanity.\n\nThe Four-Petals Partnership (Buddhist\, Quaker\, Cath
 olic and Protestant traditions)\nQuarterly Peace Services rotate between
  multi-faith sponsors to express our joint affirmations for peace\, of m
