This slideshow video highlights the Hawaii Federation of Jr. Young Buddhist Assoc. role in establishing Sept. 21st as Hawaii Peace Day in 2007 as well as the participation of Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii ministers, members, and friends in Hawaii Peace Day celebrations, in peace activities, and in parades. HHMH participants in parades carry poles strung with origami paper cranes, similar to countless paper cranes sent from all over the world to the Hiroshima and Nagasaki Peace Memorial Parks, expressing countless wishes for peace.
