In the spirit of promoting Peace Day in Hawaii and throughout the world, Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii invites the world to join in ringing bells for Peace Day on September 21, 2020!

In this event streamed live on the Internet, Bishop Eric Matsumoto will lead a minute of silence at 12 noon, honoring all those who have sacrificed for the achievement of peace. At 12:01 p.m., young people will ring bells from their local temples, churches, schools, and community organizations.

The start time is 11:40 a.m. — there will be a short program prior to the minute of silence and bell ringing.

The live stream will be available beginning at 11:40 a.m. September 21 on the KTUH Facebook page and available later on demand.
