The Honpa Hongwanji Peace Day Committee invites you to join the

“Pan Pacific Festival Parade”
Celebrating Hawaii’s Diverse Cultures!

DATE: Sunday, June 15, 2025
TIME: 5:00 PM
PLACE: Kalakaua Ave.
ATTIRE: Ethnic Clothing

Please walk with us or ride our trolley wearing garments from your ethnic cultures or simply come as you are. We will carry signs “Walk for Peace” or your temple names, and walk Kalakaua Ave. ringing the Kansho Bell for Peace.

Meet at 4:30 p.m. at Ft. DeRussy Park, the start of the parade

At the end of the parade your car should be parked at Kapiolani Park, or our trolley can bring you back to Ft. DeRussy for your car.

Or, park at Honpa Hongwanji, Pali Hwy. and ride the shuttle trolley to the Parade. First come, first served for seats on the trolley but you may also walk in the parade and have a ride home from Waikiki. Let us know. [Note: Those who want to ride the trolley from Hawaii Betsuin are advised to arrive at 3 p.m. for a 3:30 p.m. departure.]

ALL TEMPLES, AFFILIATES, AND FRIENDS OF THE HONGWANJI ARE WANTED TO WALK OR RIDE IN THE PARADE. 😊
