Eshin-ni/Kakushin-ni Day Service on April 30 is a combined service at 9:30 a.m. honoring the contributions of Lady Eshin-ni, wife of Shinran Shonin, and Lady Kakushin-ni, daughter of Lady Eshin-ni and Shinran Shonin. World Peace Day will also be commemorated on April 30.

Hawaii Betsuin’s Dharma School is planning a lovely service. Dharma School students will be the MCs and the Dharma Message speaker will be Sensei Charlene Kihara.

At the close of the service, Dharma School ushers and BWA ladies will collect donations for Hawaii Betsuin’s youth programs which include Dharma School, Girl Scouts, and Boy Scouts.

A Hawaii Betsuin MusicFest follows in the Social Hall.

(Japanese language services will be held as usual at 8 a.m. and 1 p.m.)
