Reverend Tomioka’s talk is entitled: お念仏を申すこと (Onenbutsu wo mousu koto)
Reverend Shigenori Makino delivered the message for Eitaikyo, known as the Sangha Memorial Service. Eitaikyo services are dedicated in memory of the deceased members of the Betsuin. Rev. Makino is a retired minister of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaii.
Rev. Muneto’s message was delivered at a service honoring 14 Buddhist Women’s Association members who passed away in the last year.
Rev. Sumikawa’s message includes a story of a man who learns an important lesson from a Hawaiian fisherman while on vacation with his family.
Rev. Kaufmann begins by encouraging us to attend the Interfaith Thanksgiving Service and Bodhi Day Service and recognize our commonality with those of other sects and faiths.
