bodhi tree leaf detailBon Mairi are family memorial services. Hawaii Betsuin is providing more opportunities this year for multi-family Bon Mairi. Schedule:

July 11 – Combined Bon Mairi Services at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
July 12 – Combined Hatsubon Service at 5 p.m.
July 18 – Combined Bon Mairi Services at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
July 19 – Combined Hatsubon Service at 5 p.m.
July 25 – Combined Bon Mairi Services at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
July 26 – Combined Bon Mairi Service at 5 p.m.

We recommend reservations for the combined services in order to expedite the check-in process prior to each service. However, we will accept walk-ins.

Note that private Hatsubon (first-year service) and Bon Mairi services will continue to be available, but unlike past years, families will need to make advanced reservations with the temple office at (808) 536-7044.
