On Eshinni/Kakushinni Day, we honor Eshinni sama (Shinran Shonin’s wife) and Kakushinni sama (their youngest daughter). Their care and devotion helped bring Shinran’s teachings to the world.

This is also a special service because Dharma School youth will lead the service together with members of the Hawaii Betsuin Buddhist Women’s Association (BWA). Rev. Yuika Hasebe will be the Dharma Talk speaker.
