At the Gotan-e services we commemorate the birthday of Shinran Shonin. The speaker for both the Saturday and Sunday Gotan-e services is Rev. Jay Shingo Okamoto, the resident minister at Waipahu Hongwanji Mission. For more information, see the first page of the May 2014 Goji newsletter.  Following the service, the Dharma School will be hosting an Ice Cream social in the lounge classrooms.  Please join us for some fellowship and yummy ice cream sundaes.  Those able to are asked to bring their own bowls and spoons from home in our attempt to be more Earth friendly!  Hope to see you there!
