“Kipuni Aloha no Maui – Embrace Beloved Maui”

“Join all of Hawai‘i for a one-day statewide vigil in support of Maui. This day is centered on emotional and spiritual healing that is rooted in Native Hawaiian practices with leaders from diverse faiths.”

    • Kawaiahao Church: Bishop Umitani and the other Hawaii Buddhist Council Bishops will attend a noon ceremony at Kawaiahao Church in Honolulu
    • O‘ahu – Thomas Square, 925 S Beretania St., Honolulu, at Noon. Kumu Hula Mehana Hind will lead a noon ceremony in partnership with kumu hula, cultural practitioners, and leaders from diverse faiths (please arrive by 11:30 am and connect with Kumu Hula Mehana Hind).
