Book Reading & Signing

Stephen Miwa will read excerpts from the book he co-produced with his late father Larry Miwa, Gambare Hiroshima—Don’t Give Up!

All proceeds from book sales at this event will go towards the current production of “Peace on Your Wings,” thanks to the Larry Miwa Peace Foundation.

Larry Miwa’s diary is an important call to action, an important appeal to everyone to rise and do everything possible to ensure that there is no other Hiroshima.

Performance by the Cast of “Peace on Your Wings”

In preparation for their summer performances at Kennedy theater and tour to Japan, the cast will perform a few songs from the musical “Peace on Your Wings.”

The emcee is Jose Barzola, University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa.

Light refreshments provided.
