The funeral for Patricia Lee Masters will be held at Hawaii Betsuin at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 20, 2018.

Pat passed away on Friday, June 15, 2018 in Honolulu, Hawaii at the age of 70 after courageously facing cancer. Her twenty five-year commitment to research and document Mary Elizabeth Mikahala Robinson Foster’s fascinating biography culminated in the publication of Searching for Mary Foster in 2017.

Pat was born in Los Angeles, California and was a University of Hawaii director of the SEED program, a professor and had a doctorate degree in Political Science. She is survived by a daughter Kimberly J. Masters and a son Justin Powers.
