About Rev. Miyaji
Reverend Nobuo Miyaji is a retired minister of the Buddhist Churches of America (BCA). He was born in Kyoto City in 1947. Graduated from Ritsumei University with a Bachelor degree in philosophy (1970); attended Chuo Bukkyo Gaku-in (1972; and received a Masters degree in Buddhism from Ryukoku University (1976). Reverend Miyaji was appointed a BCA minister (Kaikyoshi) in 1977. He served as a resident minister for temples in Santa Barbara, Ogden, LA Betsuin, Venice, Fresno Betsuin and Gardena. He retired in 2016. Reverend Miyaji and his wife, Yoshiko, have three children and six grandchildren. Sensei enjoys sports, reading and ma-jong.
