From the text on the collage:
“Hawaii Betsuin BWA members and friends made face masks for health care workers, residents of a nursing home, a care home, and foster care families. The blue and white masks are examples of ‘re-use, recycle’ as they were made from blue surgical sheets provided by Hawaii Pacific Health and white sheets provided by Kahala Nui. Tamayo Matsumoto who spearheaded this project delivered the colorful masks with handcrafted ‘Thinking of You’ tags made by Penny Atcheson to Craigside, a senior living condo where some of our BWA members reside. Mahalo to the BRAVE-WILLING-AWESOME women and their Ohana.”
