The Betsuin welcomes Reverend Toyokazu Hagio, who began his service as our Fukurimban (assistant chief minister) on February 1 and gave the dharma talk at the February 16 English-language service. After a combined 9:30 a.m. service on Sunday, January 26, the Hawaii Betsuin held its annual membership meeting in the hondo.
On January 20, 2014, the Hawaii Federation of Buddhist Women’s Associations participated in the Martin Luther King Jr. Day Parade from Ala Moana Beach Park to Kapiolani Park.
