Vegan chef Paul Onishi will give a talk and cooking demo in the Hawaii Betsuin Lounge on October 27 following the 10 a.m. Sunday service. The presentation begins at 11:30 a.m. and is scheduled to go till 1 p.m. Paul will tell some of his journey from a self-described “food abuser” with high blood pressure to vegan chef and educator while demoing dishes and products for delicious plant-based eating.
Paul is a sought-after speaker and instructor with a busy schedule of classes, appearances at festivals and conferences, and TV and internet interviews. He was one of the chef presenters at VegFest Oahu, where he demoed “Healthy Loco Moco.”
All welcome! Space in the lounge should be ample but is limited; please plan accordingly to take advantage of this special opportunity to explore plant-based cooking with Paul Onishi! Food samples provided. There is no charge to attend, but donations are welcome to help defray costs.
