Schedule now available at Dharma Light Classes.

The Dharma Light Program — offered through the Buddhist Study Center — offers classes on general and Shin Buddhism for those new to Buddhist concepts and those who wish to renew their studies of Buddha’s teachings.

Many classes are at the Buddhist Study Center across from UH Manoa on University Avenue and some are at temples.

The August-December 2015 schedule offerings include:

• Many Faces of Buddhism
• ABC’s of Buddhism
• Buddha and Christ
• First Steps in Understanding Shin Buddhism – Moiliili
• First Steps in Understanding Shin Buddhism – Kailua
• Walking the Eight-fold Path
• Parenting on the Buddhist Path
• Pure Land Buddhism & Shin Path
• Rituals & Traditions of Shin Buddhism

Each course includes 3-8 class sessions. The first session of the first course is August 8 at Moiliili Hongwanji (Understanding Shin Buddhism: First Steps).
