Honpa Hongwanji Hawaii Betsuin BWA sent 400 masks, 6 packages of antibacterial hand wipes, and 2 face shields to the Lanai Hongwanji for community distribution to help stop the spread of COVID-19 on their island. Our volunteers, consisting of BWA members and supporters, sewed 170 keiki and adult masks, and donated 230 disposable masks. Two boxes were mailed to Kitty Nohara, President of Lanai Hongwanji who coordinated distribution.
