Please join the Hawaii Betsuin Council in celebrating the birth of Shakyamuni Buddha at their annual Buddha Day Service this Sunday, April 5, 2015. This year’s service will be held at Soto Mission of Hawaii at 1708 Nuuanu Avenue. Service will begin at 9:00 am and the guest speaker is Dr. Jay Sakashita, a professor of Religion, Arts and Humanities at Leeward Community College and University of Hawaii at Manoa. Our own Hawaii Betsuin Choir will also be performing during the service. We hope you can all make it. Additional parking will be available at Hongwanji Mission School and at Hawaii Betsuin. No regular Sunday services will be held at the Hawaii Betsuin.
