The new classroom building for Pacific Buddhist Academy (PBA), which shares our temple campus, is beginning to take shape. The foundation for the first floor is almost complete. Work on the retaining walls continues. In spite of winter approaching, the construction team is making progress every day toward opening the building in autumn 2017.
The builders will begin working in the main temple driveway starting on Monday, November 28 to make the final connection into the existing drainage ditch that runs behind the temple.
This work will begin after the morning rush; the crews will maintain one lane for traffic up and down the driveway. The builders are hopeful that this driveway work can be completed within a week. Visitors to the temple campus should take note that accessing the temple campus may take longer and plan accordingly.
