Hawaii Betsuin Buddhist Women’s Association honored the five Betsuin ministers, Bishop Eric Matsumoto, and Rev. Kazunori Takahashi of Hongwanji Headquarters. Each minister shared about their hometown and how many years they served as Jodo Shinshu minister in Hawaii. Dianne Ida, president of Hawaii Betsuin BWA, thanked them for their commitment and dedication to our sangha and greater community in Hawaii. Ministers’ Appreciation Day in the month of October (2nd Sunday) celebrates the contributions of priests, pastors, reverends and ministers in the U.S.
