During Earth Month 2019 at Hawaii Betsuin, we presented a Green Fair and an Earth Day Service on two successive Sundays. At the 9:30 a.m. Service before our Green Fair on Sunday, April 14, Rev. Blayne Higa delivered both children’s and adult talks entitled, “The Value of Sharing.”

At the 10 a.m. service on Sunday, April 21, Roshi Michael Kieran of the Palolo Zen Center delivered a dharma talk for adults entitled “Living by Vow: The Pure Land and Our Ecological Crisis.”
